A Brief Overview

This role will oversee the financial performance of Safelite and collaborate with Finance Business Partners on reporting and in-depth analysis related to the departments they support. The candidate will be tasked with identifying and analyzing key business trends and issues, coordinating variance analysis, and providing recommendations to Finance Leadership. The position will provide accurate and timely analysis critical for ensuring appropriate financial and operational accountability. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership, communication, organization, and analytical skills.

What you will do

  • Budget and Long-Range Planning: Direct the budget and long-range planning process, coordinating deliverables with key stakeholders.

  • Safelite P&L Model: Own and manage the financial P&L model, identifying expense-related risks and opportunities for weekly leadership updates, projections, and month-end close.

  • Risk and Opportunity Assessment: Facilitate weekly R&O meeting with Accounting and Finance Business Partners.

  • Month-End Close Reviews: Drive month-end close review meeting in collaboration with Accounting and Finance Business Partners.

  • Reporting: Provide financial materials for internal and external stakeholder reviews.

  • Strategic Partnership: Strategically partner with Finance and other key leaders across the organization.

  • Execute Change Management: Drive efficiency and continuous process improvement.

  • Lead and Motivate: Model and support Safelite values, by providing mentorship, sharing knowledge and helping to support the growth and development of other team members.

  • Manage for Results: Produce sustainable results consistently, hold Finance Business Partners accountable.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

What you will need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Related Field Required

  • 7-9 years of relevant experience Required

  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or corporate Accounting Required

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to exercise business judgment and effectively communicate with management.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, organized, detail-oriented, and thorough.

  • Comfortable working with assumptions and imperfect data.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with industry-leading BI, EPM, and GL tools.
