About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Counsel to join our growing legal team. This role will support a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters, with a primary focus on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating technology and data-related agreements in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, with a strong background in healthcare compliance, privacy, and commercial transactions.

Key Responsibilities




  • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including:

    • Software licensing agreements (SaaS)
    • Business associate agreements (BAAs)
    • Data use agreements
    • Statements of Work (SOWs)
    • Master services agreements (MSAs)
    • Vendor, customer, and partnership contracts


  • Provide legal advice related to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and state privacy laws
  • Support product and business teams with legal guidance on product development, deployment, and go-to-market strategies
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Compliance, and Security teams to align legal risk with business objectives
  • Assist in developing contract templates, playbooks, and internal policies to streamline contract processes
  • Support compliance efforts related to data privacy, security, and healthcare regulatory obligations
  • Stay current on legal and regulatory developments in healthcare and technology

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, ideally at a law firm and/or in-house legal department
  • Strong experience with healthcare technology contracts and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA
  • Familiarity with privacy laws (e.g., CCPA, GDPR), and an understanding of their impact on data handling and technology
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving with a strong sense of ownership


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in a fast-growing SaaS or health tech company
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML technologies and associated legal considerations in healthcare



Pay range: $130,000 - $150,000 USD

This is an exempt position. The salary range is for Base Salary. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee's geographic location.
