Our team operates with the speed and agility of a startup, backed by the resources and stability of Adobe.

We're looking for our first Senior Quality Engineer to evolve and scale our test engineering strategy and deliver exceptional user experiences. What You'll Do

  • Work collaboratively with product and engineering to plan and instill quality controls and test strategies across the entire product development lifecycle.

  • Utilize your skills and knowledge of the web as a platform, audio and video formats and software automation to identify risks and prioritize against their impact.

  • Engage with users to understand their workflows and challenges and integrate that into our product planning and testing strategies.

  • Develop comprehensive manual and automated tests to ensure the successful launch of exciting new features at the intersection of audio, video and AI.

  • Continually refine and grow the quality bar for the team by identifying high impact initiatives and integrating lessons learned from launches earlier into the product development lifecycle.

  • Hands on creative development to build new tools and helpers to increase the velocity of the engineering team that is already disciplined in automated testing and continuous integration.

  • Work with product, support and engineering daily to investigate, replicate, write up and prioritize bugs against the product backlog.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of quality engineering experience on the web with highly interactive javascript applications.

  • 5+ years of experience writing automated test suites preferably in Ruby / RSpec / Capybara and Jest.

  • Excellent attention to detail and curiosity to learn and invest in new technologies and skillsets through a mix of collaboration and solo development.

  • Confident in communicating your work, motivating others, and shaping the direction of product and engineering. This will come from having the ability to analyze bugs and make recommendations based on their actual impact against competing product priorities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of agile development, automated testing, and right-sized process.

  • Ownership, autonomy, and a history of delivering high-impact work.
