Journeyman Electrician Hourly rate: $46.63 This position is responsible for operating, controlling, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and adjusting facility electrical systems. Work is typically performed alone but may be performed as a member of a team of other Electricians or experienced personnel from other Departments. This role executes all work assignments within the constraints of authorized expenditures and applicable departmental standards. Responsibilities: * Identify and execute electrical and mechanical system preventative maintenance (PM) procedures to prevent breakdowns, prolong equipment life and minimize interruptions impacting the customer.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, related controls and equipment or non-expired certifications and experience which equals five (5) years. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 30 lbs. or greater. Must be able to bend and crawl into confined spaces. Must be able to operate a Scissor lift and Boom requipment. Must be able to walk or stand between 4 to 8 hours. Must be able to work on ladders and on elevated platforms. Must be able to work in different weather conditions (hot, cold, snow & rain).
