Roll-Off Garbage Driver

Waste Connections is looking for individuals who have a passion for driving, career growth, and share our #1 Value: Safety! We are currently hiring a Roll-Off Garbage Truck Driver to join our team at Tampa Hauling in Tampa, FL.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Safely operate a Roll-Off garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste
• Read route sheets and service each customer as assigned
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance (fluids, safety equipment, tires)
• Load and unload materials, sometimes without assistance
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities
• Interact courteously with customers and perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed (approx. 50 hours/week)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Minimum 2 years of Roll-Off driving experience with a stable work history
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Garbage truck experience is a plus
