L2:

Estimated annual base pay: $132,000 (minimum) - $165,000 (midpoint) - $198,000 (maximum)

L3:

Estimated annual base pay: $142,800 (minimum) - $178,500 (midpoint) - $214,200 (maximum)

As a key member of our Asset Services team, this role is responsible for engaging directly with customers in the Industrial, power generation and oil & gas industries to drive sales of Woodward equipment, upgrades, and service solutions. The position plays a vital role in supporting the operational reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of our customers' critical assets.

What you will be doing...

L2:

  • Demonstrated expertise in technical sales, asset management, and service delivery within power generation or oil & gas industries.

  • Knowledge of industrial controls, rotating equipment, system integration, and Woodward products, including specifications and cost-impact analysis.

  • Strong customer relationship management, account planning, and strategic sales skills, including promoting Woodward's Asset Services and driving business growth.

  • Experience in customer-facing technical roles, field services, and regional travel to support business and customer engagement.

  • Leads cross-functional teams for proposals, pricing, contract negotiations, and market analysis, while mentoring sales team members and supporting escalations.

L3:

  • Develop and execute strategic business opportunities, sales strategies, and account plans for global and complex customers to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Lead and mentor sales teams, oversee customer relationship management, and present account reviews while addressing risks and maintaining margins.

  • Drive demand forecasting accuracy, revenue planning, and mitigation strategies to overcome forecast shortfalls.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations, collaborating closely with Contracts Administration.

  • Gather market intelligence, support new product introduction programs, and contribute to product strategies, roadmaps, and channel network management.

What we are looking for...

L2:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sciences (BA/BS) required

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial role required

  • Extensive knowledge of Woodward products or similar control systems with proven customer influence abilities required

  • 5+ years of experience in a related industry required

  • Up to 50% travel

L3:

  • Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) preferred, or Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a technical or business discipline (or international equivalent) required.

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial role or related industry required, with extensive Woodward product knowledge and customer influence abilities.

  • Additional formal training in program management, negotiations, and strategic selling preferred.

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a commercial role preferred.

  • Strong expertise in product knowledge, market knowledge, strategy development, proposal creation, sales fundamentals, and marketing fundamentals to drive competitive positioning and customer engagement.

  • Up to 50% travel
