We are actively looking for a Capture Planning Assistant to join our Marketing team in our Charlotte office. As part of the Capture Planning Group, the Assistant will support the Capture Planning Manager in the development and execution of capture plans and early proposal preparation, which are strategies for winning business opportunities, in both the government or corporate contracting sector. This role will help gather information, analyze the competition, and prepare our marketing team prior to the release of RFPs.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assists capture managers in developing and implementing capture plans
  • Contributes early to the development of proposals, including, gathering information, and ensuring compliance with bid requirements pre-RFP
  • Works with various teams, including business development, engineering, and marketing, to support capture efforts in advance of RFP
  • Prepares and updates project documentation, including capture plans, reports, and correspondence
  • Customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Support the marketing managers in preparation of presentations and marketing materials for capture efforts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or related; required
  • 0-3 years of experience including internship(s) in related marketing role
  • Software
    • Microsoft and Adobe Suites
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present information and collaborate with teams
  • Ability to gather information from various sources and synthesize it into actionable insights
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized
  • Understanding of capture planning processes, best practices, and industry standards
  • Local to Charlotte area as this role will need to travel to the office
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
