Position Summary |
This position is responsible for independently managing high level day-to-day operations of the ticket office. This position provides supervisory, project, and executive support to the
UGA Athletics Ticket Office as well as oversees and coordinates the day-to-day activities. An employee assigned to this position may serve as the principle point for execution and management of all facets of Gymnastics tickets. Serve as administrative contact and liaison with internal and external constituencies and may provide specialist support services in the areas of budget management, public and community relations, general business administration, and/or student, donor, and faculty/staff affairs. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Knowledge of ticket office functions such as season ticket renewal and the distribution process for all ticketed sports.
- Excellent computer skills, including an extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask and work cooperatively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- An independent thinker, self-motivated, and accustomed to high-volume, fast-paced, detail-oriented work environments.

Technology and Ticket Office:
- In conjunction with Annual Fund staff, manage and supervise part-time staff, students, gameday event staff to include scheduling and providing employee training.
- Collaborates daily with Athletics Compliance office and coaches/directors of operations on student-athlete complimentary ticket claim and distribution process.
- Direct Faculty/Staff ticketing for Football, Men's Basketball, Baseball and Gymnastics.
- Coordinate institutional policies in conjunction with Faculty Athletic Representatives.
- Collect new hire and retiree forms from Campus Human Resources to accurately reflect their ticket status.
- Assist in maintaining accurate season ticket holder/donor records in Paciolan, including monitoring for potential deceased accounts
- Independently monitor and facilitate ticket office supply and equipment needs.
- Monitor office email: gatickets@sports.uga.edu and respond accordingly in a professional manner.

Ticket Management:
- Independently manage all aspects of Gymnastics ticketing.
- Coordinate Gymnastics season setup, ticket allocation, and event preparation.
- Works directly with the business office on the budget for ticket sales.
- Responds to and/or routes all incoming correspondence.
- Create season, price codes, and reports in Paciolan ticketing software for ticket office, development office, and ticket sales to use for Gymnastics season.
- Maintain active dialogue with sport facilitators, Director of Gymnastics Operations and Event Management Lead.
- Works directly with development office and marketing on sales campaign/timeline for season tickets, single game tickets, and group tickets.
- Responsible for allocation of season tickets and postseason events.
- Responsible for game day ticket operations including sales, will call and resolution.
- Includes postseason events, which will require travel.

- Perform daily reconciliation tasks which include checking all check and cash transactions from the previous day
