A Sales Engineer (SE) is an outstanding individual who combines the communications skills to build strong professional relationships with the technical skills to develop compelling network solutions that accomplish our customer's business imperatives. The SE partners with an Account Managers to deliver business outcomes for our customers and partners while driving revenue growth for Juniper through the sale of market leading solutions.

Daily activities include direct customer and partner engagement: comprehensive discovery, information sharing and collaborative solution design; proposal development; solution demonstrations; proof-of-concept test design and execution. SE's also work collaboratively within Juniper to highlight emerging customer requirements and use cases, convey the competitive landscape, and coordinate with Juniper and partner professional services organizations to ensure implementations meet or exceed customer expectations. Additionally, time is invested in technical, professional, and leadership development through self-study and formal training.

Position Specifics

This is a remote position in the South Florida region (preferably in the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale Areas) responsible for some of Juniper's most valued enterprise customers.

Experience



  • 2-3 years' experience designing, building, and troubleshooting enterprise or service provider networks.
  • Experience presenting and white boarding technical subjects to communicate ideas and build support
  • Pre-sales engineering experience a plus.


Preferred Technical Skills



  • Campus network design (wired, wireless, or WAN)
  • Data center network design (EVPN/VXLAN, IP fabrics)
  • Network Security design (NGFW, UTM, DDoS, IPSec, SIEM, SSE, SASE)


Desired Technical Skills



  • Operational models, including AIOps, DevOps, SecOps
  • Network automation, including Python, Ansible, YANG, JSON, Netconf
  • Artificial Intelligence concepts: LLM, RAG, GPT, etc.

Minimum Salary: $110,080.00

Maximum Salary:$158,240.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $110,080.00 and $158,240.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
