The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Contract Manager in Mount Pleasant, PA and support our operations within the High Voltage Business Unit across North and South America. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful performance of contract management during both the tendering phase and project executions. How You'll Make an Impact

• Ensure adherence to contract and claim management methodologies.

• Review and comment on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions.

• Develop contract strategies based on policies, customer requirements, and execution strategies.

• Identify contract baselines and highlight potential risks.

• Verify fulfillment of contractual obligations and document lessons learned.

• Analyze prime contract terms to identify opportunities and risks.

• Draft, negotiate, and finalize agreements with legal advice.

• Deliver contractual training to project managers and internal groups.

Your Background

• Degree in Law or equivalent.

• Five years of experience in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiating in the energy sector.

• Extensive experience in contract management functions for EPC energy projects or similar industrial plants.

• Experience in working with internationally staffed teams and contractual partners.

• Solid understanding of change management and contract-related legal issues.

• Ability to multitask and collaborate with counterparts in other Business Units.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish; knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage.
