Mission: Quantum is seeking a Senior Signals Analyst to collect and conduct signals search, analysis, target identification, and reporting operations; develop, evaluate, and execute target mission plans to include exploitation and manipulation of the Electromagnetic (EM) spectrum; collect and process a Signal Of Interest (SOI) employing demodulation, demultiplexing techniques, and coding theory; perform fine grain analysis and reporting of known, new, and anomalous signals, and provide locational data; research and develop signals; perform digital communications and bit stream analysis to recover signals structures and utilize internal parameters to identify Signal Of Interest (SOI); construct waveforms in support of communication electronic attack; conduct protocol analysis; and comply with classified information storage, transportation, and protection requirements Responsibilities:
- Prior demonstrated experience in the use of National Security Agency (NSA) software applications and databases associated with signals analysis.
- Ability to monitor and develop targets across communications technologies.
- Understands layers of Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, ports protocols associated with telecommunications technologies, and internet routing.
- Can evaluate technical information on targets of interest and identify changes to technology, or alternate means of communication.
- Appropriately cites compliant records within NSA databases in appropriate citation tools.
- Can conduct analysis collaboration and cross training with other SIGINT analysts or organizations to cross-team and cross-level information.
- Analyze advanced modems and evolving communications.
- Analyze PROFORMA, spread spectrum Signals of Interest (SOIs), and perform advanced internals signals analysis.
- Analyze collection metrics.
- Engage customers to understand intelligence needs and wants.
- Nlyze collection sources.
- Analyze common satellite communication (SATCOM) related elements.
- Analyze common ultra-high frequency/Very High Frequency/Push to Talk (UHP, VHP, PTT) communication related elements.
- Analyze common unmanned vehicles communication related elements.
- Analyze Communication capabilities.
- Analyze non-communication signals.
- Identify and analyze spread spectrum Signals of Interests (SOI).
- Perform protocol, bit, and waveform analysis.
- Can perform technical analysis on technologies of interest.
- Analyze signals from various sources including foreign communications, radar, and other electronic systems, to identify the purpose, content, and user(s) of signals.
- Responsible for operating signal collection, processing, and analysis tool suites for exploitation of recordings or live environment, collaborating with analysts throughout the Intelligence Community.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University with:
- At least 8+ years' experience within job description with 451/461 or 452 and
- At least 2 of the years of experience must have been within the last 5 years. Or
- At least 11+ years' experience within job description with 451/461 or 452 and
- At least 2 of the years of experience must have been within the last 5 years.
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and CI poly is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and CI poly upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
- Candidate must be able to attain and maintain access to National Security Agency systems.
