Could you be the full-time onsite Procurement Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll drive procurement efficiency and standardization across Alstom APM (Automated People Mover) sites, focusing on APM MPC deployment to ensure alignment with Quality Cost and Delivery (QCD) objectives. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Supply Chain, Engineering, and Project Management), establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships, and implement best practices for procurement optimization, and much more.

We'll look to you for:



  • Acting as the Services Procurement Point of Contact for leading the APM (Automated People Mover) MPC creation and deployment,
  • Developing, tracking, and maintaining Procurement KPIs and bowling charts to measure procurement performance and identify areas for improvement within the US Services O&M Organization,
  • Implementing best practices for procurement efficiency and cost optimization while contractualizing requirements,
  • Establishing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness,
  • Managing supplier escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of procurement challenges,
  • Acting as a procurement liaison between APM sites and their respective teams to address site needs,
  • Providing procurement guidance to the Services Procurement Team and supporting key site stakeholders to ensure operational continuity,
  • Supporting procurement operations within the Critical Delivery Center, ensuring timely issue resolution.

  • Degree in Purchasing, Business Management, or a related field,
  • Proven experience in leading end-to-end procurement processes, fostering strategic supplier relationships, and tracking key performance indicators to drive operational efficiency,
  • Knowledge of SAP and its application in procurement workflows,
  • Experience in multi-site management and Operations and Maintenance (mechanical) practices,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convince and influence stakeholders,
  • Ability to coordinate with functional teams such as Supply Chain, Engineering, and Project Management,
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities autonomously,
  • Resilience and adaptability in handling procurement escalations and ensuring operational continuity.
