Total Compensation: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 Compensation includes: Base Salary and Bonus Responsible for all aspects of managing products within reprocessing discipline, including planning, pricing, promotions, and product launch, representative and specialist training, key physician/key account development, competitive analysis, and product development. Acts as the company's expert for all current reprocessing standards & best practices as they relate to RWMIC products. Ensures the instructions for cleaning, sterilizing and handling of RWMIC devices and instrumentation are communicated to field representatives and customers through training, scheduled visits and complaints resolution. - Responsible for competitive analysis and cross-reference database, development and maintenance. Provide this information to the Sales Representatives, Sales Specialists, Regional Managers, Customer Service, Technical Departments and Marketing at GmbH.
- Completes planning and forecasting of product, including samples, sales forecasts, inventory needs, etc., in conjunction with production/operations department.
- Provides input and recommendations on key components of the Marketing Plan and long-term strategy.
- Works with Marketing at GmbH to identify, propose, develop and launch new products and applications. This includes technology, competitive and application assessment, market/product plan and ROI proposal, development milestones and timeline, key physician interaction, forecast, launch package and tracking.
- Works closely with GmbH Hygiene Department on reprocessing materials.
- Works closely with Marketing Managers to update the reprocessing sections of the IFUs to ensure that reprocessing steps are correct.
- Works closely with MARCOM regarding marketing and collateral materials.
- Communicates with the Regulatory department on product reprocessing and sterilization validation.
- Works closely with the other managers and the regulatory department to create new trays for existing products, validations, and protocol issues.
- Determines proper cleaning and disinfection solutions and develops an action plan to meet customer demands when needed.
- Maintains relationships with Key Physician/Key Accounts including routine contact, T & E equipment, and utilization in training and publishing.
- Responsible for national and regional conventions/labs/meetings in reprocessing, including:
- Definition of booth layout, exhibition equipment, advertising material, booth speakers, promotions, hospitality and evaluation.
- Arranging meetings with key customers and special guests.
- Partners with RWMIC Marketing Managers on developing and executing product trainings including Power Point presentations and training material.
- Serves as an educational subject matter expert for reprocessing to provide support for field representatives with in-service and educational related questions.
- Responds to all customer complaints, communications or concerns regarding cleaning, sterilization and handling of RWMIC equipment and instrumentation and maintains timely communication with internal/external customers and team members.
- Provides training for hospital Central Processing and OR staff on RWMIC recommended cleaning, sterilization and handling processes.
- Performs site visits to audit each customer's cleaning, sterilization, and handling processes to ensure they are following best practices as outlined in IFU documentation.
- Responsible for regular training of Sales Agents, Sales Representatives, Service and Clinical Specialists, Regional Managers and Customer Service.
- Works closely with the Clinical Educator to develop training material for hospital staff related to proper handling and reprocessing of materials. Creates in-service videos with focus on reprocessing aspects.
- Works closely with the Clinical Educator to develop more instructional media pertaining to assembly, disassembly, and cleaning of instruments.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 50%+ travel needed (local and overnight stays) to conventions, major meetings, key physicians/customer or for additional training. Work approximately 10-15 weekends per year.
- Sets and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Responsible for monthly activity reports, developing and monitoring a budget.
- Interacts with other departments such as customer service and repair operations with the goal of expediting repairs and lowering the time of average repairs.
- Other job duties as assigned by the Clinical Services Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, medical devices, or clinical services preferred.
- Knowledge of reprocessing, sterilization, care and handling of endoscopic equipment, preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of the various cleaning and sterilization methods employed in hospitals, clinics, and various office practice settings where RWMIC equipment might be used, preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels.
- Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize workloads, and organizational skills.
- Proven training experience a plus.
- Certified Central Service Vendor Partner (CCSVP) Certification (or willingness to achieve within one year of employment).
- Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) and Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) (or willingness to achieve within two years of employment).
- Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) (or willingness to achieve within three years of employment).
- Intermediate-Advanced PC skills and familiarity with MS Office suite necessary.
- ISO and AAMI knowledge as is related to cleaning, sterilizing, and Analytical Labs for reusable medical devices.
- Requires expertise in applicable regulatory matters, direct knowledge of reprocessing customs and emerging trends at a hospital or clinical facility's central processing department, a plus.
- Experience with and understanding multi-cultural and multi-generational differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
