Pay is depending on experience. Minimum is $67,756 annually, $2,606 bi-weekly
Position Summary The Branch Services Manager collaborates with the Lending Branch Manager to manage day-to-day activities, supervise branch staff, and implement strategies to meet assigned branch goals. Works with loan officers to provide support in the production and management of loans. The following duties are intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities and ARE NOT intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in this classification. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Branch Operations
- Monitor and direct branch staff to deliver Superior Customer First Service and provide on-going coaching/training.
- Open and close the branch. Manage security, physical control and maintenance of facility including equipment, supply inventory, control and accountability of cash, and timely completion of assigned branch reports and certifications.
- Educate customers with respect to Northrim Bank product/service options and build/retain customer bank relationships.
- Schedule calls outside the bank to make presentations on financial services to professional, non-profit groups, and/or commercial customer employees to attract new clients. Work closely with Treasury Management team to help facilitate higher level Treasury Management needs if appropriate.
- Refer, sell, and open deposit products/services to fit the customers' needs. Identify cross-sell opportunities to gain and retain banking relationships.
- Perform analytical profiling and product research to identify appropriate solutions for prospects and clients.
- Ensure prompt and effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns, maintaining a high standard of service.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards in all client transactions.
- Complete online, written and in-person compliance training within established timeframes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Consumer, Small Business Loans, SBA/Guarantee loans
- Initiate and close consumer, small business loans, and SBA/Guarantee loans.
- Assist loan officers in reviewing consumer, small business loans, SBA, or other guarantee loan documents and scheduling loan closing. Coordinate post-closing functions with loan documentation team.
- Review consumer, small business, and SBA/Guarantee loan requests to understand loan terms. Use various software programs and generate appropriate loan documentation according to the loan authorization, Northrim Bank underwriting guidelines, policies, and regulations and to ensure proper collateral position.
- Prepare documents for consumer, small business loans and SBA/Guarantee loans, loan renewals, change in terms, RPMs and STEs.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conduct performance evaluation; working with HR to address work related issues.
- Ensure employees complete compliance training within established timeframes; understand and implement compliance requirements applicable to their positions.
Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience
- Five years of financial institution experience to include:
- Three years of retail branch operations management experience.
- Consumer and small business lending experience.
- Combination of related education/experience that fulfill the requirements of the position may be used as a substitute for work experience/tenure.
- Related military education/experience may be used as a substitute for education or work experience.
Licenses & Certifications
- State of Alaska Life Insurance License and FINRA Series 65 or 66 preferred.
- This position may require current registry with the National Mortgage Loan Licensing Registry to include annual renewals and submission of fingerprints every three years, and must pass a criminal background check.

Computer/Software/Other Equipment Skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as PC, printer, fax/copier, and telephone.
