Genesis10 seeks an HR Generalist for a 3-month contract assignment in Racine, WI. We are looking for someone to fill in during a leave of absence from Early June through September. The contract might be a longer opportunity for the right candidate. Compensation: $26.00 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level. Description: The successful HR Representative is based in Racine, WI, and will partner with the HR Manager to support employees from multiple functions located in various locations. The HR Representative will utilize an understanding of business strategies to assess HR implications and address issues by providing objective and confident solutions. Responsibilities: Must have corporate functional HR experience Understand the organization's business strategies in order to provide HR insights and solutions to business challenges Maintain familiarity and compliance with all local, state, federal employment and EEO laws to ensure effective and timely employment actions and decisions Counsel managers and supervisors on HR policies, procedures, compensation and benefit programs, and disciplinary actions to ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employees Understand the company's total compensation strategy and facilitate pay actions Manage the staffing process to ensure positions are filled in a timely manner with high quality candidates, this includes discussing staffing needs with line managers, screening applicants and participating in the interview process Ensure timely and clear communication within the business unit on HR policies, practices, and initiatives Manages employee lifecycle transactions using applicable HR systems. Analyzes trends to assist in the definition and development of key talent reporting/metrics. Encourage and build positive employee relations Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline 3+ years' experience in an HR generalist role with demonstrated HR skills and understanding of key HR practices. Instead of a degree, candidates with more than 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist role will be considered The preferred candidate will have: Experience working with management on talent attraction and retention initiatives Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to solve problems and make decisions Must be organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize work Strong attention to detail and analytical ability If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!
