The Senior Data Engineer contributes and leads the design, development, integrations, and management of Echo's large scale data solutions while supporting the strategic architectural vision of quality, scalability, performance, and function.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, integrate, and manage Echo's large scale data solutions including data storage, data modeling, ETL, data querying, and reporting
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the data engineering community
  • Work with both on-prem data environment and deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
  • Lead in the research, evaluation, operational usage and building of relational and non sql solutions
  • Utilize programming languages like .Net, Python, T-SQL, RDBMS, Open Source and NoSQL databases, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and a variety of AWS tools and services

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional data engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following modern languages: .Net, Python, T-SQL, PostgresSQL
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
  • 2+ years of experience in Open Source frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
  • Experience with AWS Aurora\Redshift
  • Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, PowerBI, Tableau

Compensation

$112,350.00-165,050.00 per year This role is eligible for a bonus that is based on a combination of personal and business performance.
