Recruiter - Creative + Marketing

Purpose of the Job

We are looking for a driven and resourceful talent acquisition professional who excels in a dynamic, high-volume environment with a knack for identifying exceptional creative and marketing talent. We're seeking a results-oriented Recruiter to operate with the agility and speed of a staffing agency while embedded within our organization, dedicated to sourcing top-tier professionals for a large tech client. This role will manage a diverse portfolio of permanent and fixed-term contract positions, requiring a proactive and strategic approach to talent acquisition.

This will be a hybrid position based in Mountain View, California.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for a variety of creative and marketing roles.
• Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, industry-specific job boards, professional networks and creative communities.
• Serve as a dedicated point of contact for hiring managers within our client-facing team, building strong relationships and a deep understanding of their talent needs, team dynamics and company culture.
• Provide regular updates and act as a trusted advisor on recruitment strategies.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for both current and anticipated needs.
• Track key recruitment metrics, provide regular reports on progress and identify areas for improvement to ensure efficient and effective talent acquisition.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities within the creative and marketing sectors.
• Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process, reflecting positively on both our organization and our client.
• Partner effectively with internal HR teams on onboarding, compliance and other related processes.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

• Proven experience as a Recruiter, ideally with a strong focus on creative, marketing or digital roles. Agency or staffing experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing full-cycle recruitment for both permanent and contract positions.
• Exceptional sourcing skills with a proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates through diverse channels.
• Strong understanding of creative and marketing roles, industry terminology and required skill sets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.

For California applicants: The US base salary for this position is $80,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation for this package also includes a commission structure based on the total number of positions filled, capped at 115% of base salary.
