As a Senior Market Research Manager within the AnswerSuite division at Syneos Health, you will lead the development and delivery of custom market research solutions for top pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare clients. This role requires expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research, a strong consultative presence, and the ability to oversee complex projects from design through delivery. You will manage high-visibility client relationships and ensure research outcomes align with broader strategic objectives.
In this role, you will shape research strategies, mentor junior team members, and support business development efforts. Your ability to synthesize findings into compelling, insight-driven narratives will be critical in influencing key decisions for clients across the healthcare landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution: Lead end-to-end execution of market research projects, manage timelines, budgets, and communications.
Quantitative Research: Design surveys, analyze data, and create insight-driven reports.
Qualitative Research: Develop discussion guides, manage logistics for qualitative studies, and serve as moderator when needed.
Client Engagement & Insights Delivery: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, present findings, and contribute to proposals and growth strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AnswerSuite's internal teams and support the integration of research insights into broader commercialization strategies.
Qualifications:
  • 3-10 years of relevant experience in custom/primary market research, preferably within healthcare or life sciences.
  • Strong understanding of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Decipher), data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Q), and reporting tools (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, social sciences, business, public health, or a related field. Specific training in market research and/or an advanced degree is a plus.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $90K to $115K. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
