Assistant Director of Marketing Undergraduate Admissions Georgia State University's Office of Undergraduate Admissions is looking to hire an Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications. The Assistant Director will coordinate and oversee the messaging and communications to prospective undergraduate students. The successful candidate will have extensive experience using Slate, or a similar CRM, to oversee our communications plan for 100,000 prospective undergraduate students through Slate. The position will also assist in the development and strategy of digital media and print publications for prospective and admitted students, and parents in conjunction with the creative team in our Public Relations and Marketing Communications Department. The Assistant Director will work closely with the web content strategist and the admissions web team to ensure consistency in messages between the web and print pieces. Georgia State offers competitive pay and benefits including: - Paid Leave Time - Comprehensive Health, dental and vision insurance Coverage - 403(b) and Pension plans And that's not all; visit our benefits page for more information: http://www.gsu.edu/hr/benefits/index.html Job responsibilities include: - Oversee and execute strategy and production of Admissions related printed material. - Develop and implement new marketing and communication strategies that align with current branding efforts across all levels of the admissions funnel and all populations of students. - Manage two Marketing Specialists and oversee email and text communication flows and messaging within the Slate CRM system. - Develop and maintain an overall admissions content calendar to capture print and digital communication flows to ensure brand consistency and messaging between all platforms and mediums. - Generate weekly and monthly reports on the effectiveness of prospective, applicant and yield campaigns. Analyze and report data to track and measure the success and effectiveness of admissions marketing campaigns. - Support the Director in coordinating information and developing materials regarding admission, academic programs of study, new student orientation, scholarships, financial aid to attract quality students to GSU. - Serve as a liaison to Public Relations and Marketing Communications for web, social and print projects, and external vendors for innovative ways to communicate with prospective and incoming students, parents and school counselors. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to demonstrate excellent, effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven analytical and creative ability to address targeted messages to a variety of audiences. - Possess working knowledge of the admissions process and university policies. - Ability to develop strong working relationships with various out of office constituencies. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Familiarity with Slate or an equivalent and client relationship management system. - Firm understanding of web 2.0 technologies and applications, including social networking, social media tools and current communication trends (including video and mobile).
