Digital Press Operator

• Prepare press jobs in advance by organizing job jackets and paper before completing the current run.
• Review all job jacket instructions and follow pressroom guidelines before starting each job.
• Monitor and ensure print quality meets approved standards and proofs throughout the run.
• Optimize job layout and determine appropriate press settings, with supervisor input as needed.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and follow safety protocols, including proper chemical handling per SDS sheets.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and ensure all press safety equipment is functional.
• Ensure production schedules and customer due dates are met efficiently and accurately.

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of the digital printing industry.
• Ability to lead and direct the activities of a diverse group of employees while creating a team-oriented environment.
• Must be self-motivated and a motivator of employees.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
