The Senior Manager, Network Development - Succession Planning is responsible for developing and executing a robust, scalable framework to guide dealerships through business transitions. This role ensures that succession planning efforts are strategically aligned with CNH's regional goals and overarching corporate objectives.

This is a hybrid role based in our office in Oak Brook, IL, where you will work on-site three days per week and enjoy the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. We believe in creating a work environment that supports both collaboration and flexibility-giving you space to connect in person while empowering you to do focused work from wherever you work best. The role is cross posted in Europe (Turin CNH HQ).



Responsibilities

    Succession Planning Framework Development, Design and implement a comprehensive dealer succession planning framework that supports varying dealership maturity levels and transition readiness. Establish clear methodologies to assess dealer readiness, leadership pipelines, and transition timelines. Ensure alignment with regional strategic roadmaps and long-term organizational goals.
  • Dealer Consolidation & Optimization, Develop and manage dealer consolidation strategies to improve overall network performance. Implement standardized transaction models to support consolidation, expansion, and divestiture processes. Facilitate smooth transitions during mergers and acquisitions, including post-integration optimization and change management.
  • Investor Pipeline & Capital Attraction, Identify and cultivate relationships with potential investors, including private equity firms, family offices, and strategic partners. Develop capital attraction strategies to secure financial backing for dealership transitions and consolidation activities. Oversee investor engagement and communication to ensure alignment with CNH investment goals.
  • CNH Investment Oversight, Evaluate and prioritize CNH capital investment opportunities that support network consolidation and strategic growth. Manage investment allocation to maximize ROI and strengthen market positioning. Collaborate with Finance and Strategy teams to assess and track investment outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication, Act as the key liaison between Regional Directors, dealers, investors, and internal leadership teams. Ensure transparent and effective communication of plans, progress, and policy updates across all stakeholders. Support internal alignment on strategic decisions and regional execution.
  • Compliance & Reporting, Ensure all dealer transition and investment activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and corporate compliance standards. Develop reporting frameworks to track succession planning progress, M&A pipeline status, and investment performance.
  • Continuous Improvement, Continuously assess market dynamics, industry best practices, and internal performance metrics to evolve the succession and consolidation strategy. Lead initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence within the network development function.

The annual salary for this role is $148,500 - $217,800 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)



Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting/Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred and
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B dealer/distributor consolidation and M&A operations, plus 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong business acumen in manufacturing, distribution, or construction industries.
  • Proven experience in managing complex programs and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to influence senior stakeholders through data-driven narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt strategies to evolving conditions.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
