PCI is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for its PCI Indianapolis 551 operations based in Carmel, IN. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the necessary QA/QC Plan incorporating PCG company policies and procedures.

This position will be responsible for:


  • Contribute to document control, RFIs and change orders
  • Work with project team to ensure quality and timeliness of project construction and completion
  • Work with other inspectors and submittal clerks
  • Prepare and submit quality assurance plan for projects as assigned
  • Review processes for quality in accordance with contract requirements
  • Oversee staff coordination with quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Attend branch meetings for safety, project status and contracts in progress
  • Use checklists, specs, contracts, drawings and submittal packages to achieve QA
  • Confirm all quality processes, surveying and control of work
  • Plan, coordinate and develop project-specific QA/QC plan according to PCG policies and procedures
  • Take corrective or preventative actions to improve the quality on the project as assigned.
  • Complete documentation in compliance with project requirements as necessary.

Requirements:


  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret specifications and drawings for our scope of work
  • Ability to take responsibility for the outcome and results of assigned projects
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word
  • Good communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative
  • OSHA Certification
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in team environment
  • Work well under pressure and deadline
  • Ability to plan and organize your day as well as assigned projects
  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.
