The Governor's School of Tourism (GST) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Faculty Chaperones to help lead and support high school students participating in an immersive, 10-day summer experience exploring tourism, hospitality, and West Virginia's cultural and natural assets. Responsibilities:
Dates of Program: June 20-29, 2025 Pre-Trip Training: Starting June 9, 2025 Location: Various sites across West Virginia Compensation: Stipend provided; travel, lodging, and meals covered during the program. Qualifications
These positions at minimum require an associate degree in youth development, education, hospitality, humanities, or a related field, as well as a minimum of six (6) months of experience working with high school students in an academic or youth development setting. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. All qualifications must be met by the time of employment. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to dynamic environments.
