What you will do

The Training Supervisor is responsible for facilitating new hire orientation programs and conducting manufacturing specific training sessions in primarily group setting. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong communication skills and a passion for developing team members. The Training Supervisor will collaborate with various departments to ensure all training materials are current and effective, providing a comprehensive onboarding experience for new employees and enhancing the skills of existing staff.

How you will do it

  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions, ensuring all necessary training materials are provided and understood.

  • Implement training programs for manufacturing staff, focusing on skills development and operational efficiency; to include training materials, and electronic job instructions.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make improvements as needed to enhance learning outcomes.

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly.

  • Maintain accurate records of training completion and employee progress.

  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees to reinforce learning and development.

What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Previous experience in a training or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of employees.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience working with non-exempt and no-exempt employees

  • Manufacturing experience
