Our client is searching for an IT Technical Writer for a long-term position that can largely be worked remotely. All candidates must be in the Austin, TX area.
Duties: * Performs advanced (senior-level) technical writing work coordinating the composition, organization, and editing of compiled information. * Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for various project teams. * Composes, reviews, and edits technical documents, materials, and reports. * Collaborate with subject matter experts, research topics, and tailor content for specific audiences, ensuring accuracy and useability. * Translate complex technical information into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences. * Ensure documentation adheres to company style guides and industry standards. * Update and maintain existing documentation to reflect process changes. * Review edited materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content. * May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document. * Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.
