Moog's Corporate Group is looking for Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Platform Governance Team!

As a Cloud Engineer, you will collaborate closely with experienced team members. Your main focus will be to comprehend and implement cloud solutions effectively. You'll assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and security. The ideal candidate is eager and willing to learn cloud governance!

You will work at hybrid work schedule at our East Aurora, NY facility.

To be considered for this opportunity, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Over two (2) years' experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are needed to work effectively with other IT professionals.
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell,Terraform).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site; relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.
  • Beneficial Knowledge Areas: Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Monitoring and Alerting, Azure Policy, Azure DevOps, Cloud Cost Analysis Tooling, and FinOps.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, CompTIA ) are a plus.

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will:

  • Enhance performance and cost-efficiency by monitoring and optimizing cloud resources.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.
  • Participate in the evaluation and adoption of emerging cloud technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to cloud governance policies and procedures.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $61,000.00-$81,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
