- Develops, implements, and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc.
- Reviews and verifies Accounts Payable Vouchers from multiple AP systems.
- Updates the Company's Expense Policy to ensure alignment with existing regulations and current operations of the company.
- Supports the Month End Financial Closing including Journal Entries, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation and Accruals.
- Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects.
- Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.
- May generate revenue reports for internal and/or external use.
- May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders.
- May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other accounting regulations.
- Reviews and collects the vendor registration documents and performs bank account verification that includes Phone call.
- Enters the vendor registration information into the Vendor Management System.
- Manages the vendor registration documents and reports vendor new/modify/change list for Upper Management.
- Performs the vendor code cleansing (Deactivation from the Vendor Management System) every month.
- Support monthly close activities including GL adjustment review, reconciliation and reporting and communication with subsidiaries to complete financial statements and also internal audit process.
- Review closing reports, reconcile bank accounts, and support ad hoc projects as needed.
- Review, track and maintain billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare closing reports and issue follow up from HQ Audit.
- Assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue.
- Support internal and external financial audit processes and issue resolution to minimize risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or comparable experience (finance/accounting) and 1+ years relevant experience.
- Bilingual in English and Korean
- Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
