Network Engineer III

The Network Engineer III is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. The scope of this work requires a deep understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with senior engineers to design and implement network solutions that meet business needs and security standards.
  • Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment while monitoring network performance to quickly identify and resolve issues and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Participate in network-related initiatives, issues, and projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct network capacity planning to ensure scalability and future growth.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Palo Alto experience
  • Automation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • F5 or NetScaler experience
  • Healthcare industry experience

Job Expectations:

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
