AIRPORT MAINTENANCE WORKER (IN-CHARGE) Hourly: $28.76 - $32.85 Closing Date - June 10, 2025, or upon receiving 50 applications. Job Summary: Lead team on jobs requiring multiple employees. Perform maintenance and improvements to Airport roads, grounds, runways, taxiways, parking areas, buildings, fixtures and fence lines. Operate and maintain specialized motorized equipment for the purpose of grounds maintenance and snow removal. Work is performed to maintain compliance with FAA standards. Job Duties:

Note: Federal Airport Security regulations require that applicants successfully undergo a criminal history background check to maintain security clearance for unescorted access to secure areas of the airport. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Regularly makes decisions involving how a project or operation will be conducted (i.e. sequence or method), and generally from an available set of alternatives or precedents. Structured work, following a limited variety of standard practices. Note: This Original Examination is open to current residents of the State of Wisconsin. In accordance with Rule III section 11 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position.
