Facilitate product development process. Manages all design and development processes related to product development and marketing.
Represents sources and suppliers for product development, design and quality-related communications from concept to delivery of products Analyzes market data to determine product trends and strategies Oversees processes involving CAD/engineered design drawings and renditions, prototypes, and production to assure specifications are met Negotiates for products prior to acquisition based on design elements, manufacturing techniques, materials, etc. Monitors manufacturers and supply companies to obtain new product releases and secure priorities in production Oversees the internal product development process for new products and part orders, sales samples, new model set-up functions in the system, and new product releases Ensures new frames meet division quality standards prior to receipt into inventory Acts as a key resource for all quality-related functions Tracks and reports all issues for vendor meetings and communication Represents and conducts business strategies while traveling domestically and internationally for industry trade shows, frame factories visits, and retail locations Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience developing and analyzing data 2+ years of experience with product development Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and external contacts Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong spreadsheet and word processing skills Experience managing product delivery, market communications and business operations Ability to travel domestically/internationally up to 10% of the time Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties #LI-MARCHON Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
