About the role

The Project Manager's main function is to administer and monitor all aspects of projects from price quotation and bidding through to job completion.

    The Project Manager Main Responsibilities:

    • Develops and manages large scale field service and emergency response projects
    • Responsible for Business development of Field Service opportunities for target clients
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
    • Measures and tracks project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Ensure proper communication and monitor projects to ensure manpower, equipment and resources are available to complete field service and emergency response projects
    • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
    • Prepare documentation required for profiling and transportation of product or wastes
    • Prepare proper job paperwork including job sheets and purchase orders when required
    • Seek out new projects, visit sites and prepare proposals for projects
    • Act as the on-call coordinator on an as needed basis
    • Completes all required safety training, operational procedures training, RCRA training, equipment and machine training, and other training as provided and required
    • Performs other job-related duties assigned
    • Operate company vehicles, equipment, and rented items in a professional, safe, controlled, and courteous manner. Adhere to the company's zero tolerance policy for aggressive driving styles and/or speeding on roadways. Adhere to OSHA, State, and Company/Client policies during equipment operation.

    Project Manager Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred
    • Previous emergency response supervisory training desired
    • 3-5 Years' experience in environmental field service operations preferred
    • 2-4 years supervisory experience required
    • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skills
    • Strong computer skills which include Microsoft Office

    Project Manager Conditions and Physical Demands:

    • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
    • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
    • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
    • Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
    • Consistently work in various weather conditions
