Your Job

Guardian Industries is seeking a Systems Analyst/Data Collection to join our OT data Delivery Team in Auburn Hills or Carleton, MI. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data systems, automation, and software development. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated data collection solutions, writing and debugging code, and supporting data flow across industrial systems.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with analysts, developers, and engineers to design, build, and maintain applications for data collection.
  • Develop and debug code using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, C#).
  • Troubleshoot software and data flow issues across platforms.
  • Provide on-call support as needed to ensure system reliability and uptime.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data collection, analytics, or a related field.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or Python.
  • Experience with .Net framework and using SQL to update and retrieve data.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, iFix, OPC, or machine data collection tools.
  • Understanding of Agile development or DevOps methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), IT Service Management (ITSM), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), MCSE: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
