ESC Departmental Support




  • Front Desk Coverage; Responsible for answering phone calls, voicemails and greeting visitors. Ensuring daily interoffice mail and postal items are sorted for delivery;



  • Generate invoices for facility users through rSchool;



  • Credit card reconciliation for business, facilities and special education;



  • Manage online sale of district assets;



  • Purchase ESC supplies;



  • PO entry and invoice coding;



  • Document scanning;



  • Budget entry;



  • Process student record and IEP requests;





  • Oversight of special education transportation including routing, field trip requests and alternative transportation;



  • Medicaid management and billing;



  • McKenny Vento billing;



  • Process student intradistrict transfer requests;



  • Process student suspension letters;





  • Performs various department-specific administrative support tasks;



  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time; occasionally required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; consistently and repetitively operates a computer and other office machinery such as calculation devices, copy machine and/or computer printer; regularly required to communicate and exchange accurate information with administration, staff, and the public.



Qualifications


  • Education: Required - High school diploma or its equivalent; Associate's Degree or higher in a related field is preferred.



  • Strong customer service-minded approach when working with parents, staff, and students.



  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks.



  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relating to all business, personnel and school district matters.



  • Commitment to professional standards and ethics.



  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, members of the community and the Board of Education.


  • Ability to utilize new and existing technology effectively. Advanced working knowledge of computers including, but not limited to, utilization of databases, Gmail, Google Docs, Slides and Calendar, Microsoft Office Suite, the internet, and other related applications. General working knowledge of standard office equipment.
