The NC State University Libraries is seeking a dynamic and responsible student to serve as Outreach Student Assistant. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Student Success Librarian to plan, promote, and participate in engaging programs and events that highlight the ways the Libraries support the wellbeing and academic success of our Wolfpack student community. This position plays a key part in representing the Libraries at major campus events such as New Student Orientation, Welcome Week, De-Stress Fest, Packapalooza, University Open House, and more. The Outreach Student Assistant will demonstrate knowledge of library services, communication skills, initiative, and be a representative of the NC State University Libraries core values.

The Outreach Student Lead position is an exciting role that provides hands-on experience in community building, creative program development, project management, and user support for the Libraries. As an Outreach Student Lead, you'll develop valuable skills in event planning & program coordination, community outreach & public speaking, project management, collaboration with campus partners, and understanding library services and resources. This role is ideal for students interested in education, student affairs, communications, marketing, or librarianship. |
