What you will be doing:

This position is responsible for supporting Supply Chain data development to support Client Delivery of Premier Connect Supply Chain Services. Specific responsibilities of the role include primary ownership of at least three of the following Supply Chain Data Services functions and ability to perform at least five of the following Supply Chain Data Services functions:

* Quality Assurance
* SQL query build and edit capabilities
* Client Operations Delivery Facilitation
* Client Experience Validation
* Record Categorization & Classification (Transactional or Master Data Records)
* Record Enrichment and Attribution
* Association Management between varying product record types
* Record Maintenance
* Industry Data Standards Assessment, Contribution and Adoption
* Premier Data Standards Creation and Adoption
* Sourcing and Contract Management Collaboration
* Supplier Data Intake
* Member Data Intake
* Record Matching
* New Item Introduction

In addition to the above Supply Chain Services Functions, this position is responsible for the following:

* This role requires the ability to deliver excellent customer service and results to clients that pay for Premier's
commercial supply chain applications and services.
* Identifying Supply Chain Data Services operational challenges, recommending process or technology solution
improvements
* Developing temporary or long-term process and technology solutions while partnering with development support and business analysts teams to implement solutions to address operational challenges. This will involve use of technologies/software such as Excel, Access, Tableau, SQL, Google BigQuery and AI technologies.
* Ability to build and edit SQL queries to pull and analyze data from various databases
* Ability to carry out job responsibilities with minimal level of management involvement
* User level familiarity with Catalog Management and Spend Analytics products
* Purpose level knowledge of Premier's Cost Applications, including ERP, Portfolio Modeling and Contract
Management
* Contributes toward continual improvements to data integrity and adherence to Premier's Supply Chain Data
Management Standards

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility #1- 50%

Functional Ownership: Combination of any of the following supply chain data services operational functions:
* Use of SQL queries to connect related databases for record retrieval and data comparison
* Data Standards Assessment, Creation and Adoption
* Sourcing and Contract Management Collaboration
* Client Delivery Facilitation
* Client Experience Validation
* Data Intake (Supplier and/or Member)
* Record Matching & New Item Introduction
* Record Categorization, Classification and Attribution (Transactional and/or Master Data Records)
* Master Data Management: Adherence to MDM Procedures, Reference Data, Data Maintenance

Responsibility #2 - 25%

Data Quality:
* Follow quality assurance processes on data to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of product related master data
* Proactively monitor and develop unique concepts to ensure Premier's ENRI database functions and system logic rules result in complete and accurate information.
* Follow established quality metrics based on SLAs with stakeholders, monitor these quality levels and proactively intervene to maintain them at acceptable levels. This includes alignment with Premier Item Master data requirements for the Fusion and PIM databases.

Responsibility #3 - 15%

Process and System Improvement:
* Ensures process and system improvement opportunities are identified and implemented
* Facilitate and contribute to standard operating procedure documentation
* Identifies system functionality requirements and communicates business requirements to development resources
* During times of urgent business needs, develop temporary solutions while long-term solutions are being developed
* As needed, develop and manage execution of test scripts and User Acceptance Testing

Responsibility #4 - 5%

Support Client Experience Validations:
* Interacts with business and works towards achieving KPI goals and SLAs. Ensure all product-related data is accurate and complete to support applications used by members.

Responsibility #5 - 5%

Professional Development:
* Stays current with industry trends in domain best practices, healthcare, and technology
* Demonstrates self-mastery

Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience - 4 or more years

Education:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience:

* 5+ years' experience
* Structured data quality assurance processes and methodologies; data validation rules; data enrichment and attribution; relational database, SQL; data management

Education:

* Bachelor's degree
* CDMP/Registered Nurse/Medical Technologist

Working Conditions: Remote Travel Requirements: Travel 1-20% within the US Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $64,000 - $118,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
