The incumbent in this position must be able to function in a rapidly changing environment, take direction well and possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously. The incumbent is expected to be an active information gatherer, processing data, opinions and information from multiple sources and communicating key learnings with recommendations to the Product Manager. This role will be supporting customers and field sales team for Revision product order and issue support. Strong analytic, quantitative, planning, communication (both written and verbal) and diplomacy skills are routinely required in order to successfully perform in this position.
As directed by the Product Manager, work effectively with multiple internal and external departments (Engineering, MSO, Purchasing, RA/QA and Sales) representing the best needs and interests of the Brasseler Medical product line. Cross train with other members of the product management team and share responsibilities while team members are out. Ability to update and maintain the ERP system for Brasseler Medical products.
Prepare for Marketing Manager review and submission of all product initiation, change and discontinuation documentation as well as other misc. control documents at direction of the Product Manager. Work with Brasseler and MSO teams to build a scalable loaner program for the revision team and create processes to enter, ship, and track return of loaner equipment Responsible for providing invoices to customers/distributers and collecting and processing POs Responsible for order entry including working with sales leaders to process orders accurately, shipping initial inventory and replacements, processing damaged returns, shipping demo products for sales reps, shows and labs. Provide customer product support Handle all field sales inquiries in a timely, complete and professional manner. Assist in and/or conduct internal product training as directed by the Product Manager.
Basic understanding of industry practices. Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience. Prior project management experience preferred. Knowledge of marketing or product customer support practices
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Basic understanding of industry practices. Knowledge of Brasseler Medical product portfolio. Good independent decision making. Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques. Good analysis and problem solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic presentation and public speaking skills both internal and external (customer-facing) Basic interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in project management knowledge & skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Must be knowledgeable of current Information Technology Hardware and Software. Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional team(s). Experience in developing marketing and product requirements for hardware and software products and services. Knowledge of the medical market preferred.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. Job demands may require long periods of sitting, standing, telephone work, computer work. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
