Recruiting Business Partner

Summary:

The Recruiting Business Partner will provide direct hire recruiting support and manage our temporary staffing processes for our hiring managers for hourly roles in our production and distribution facilities in the Americas region. In addition, the Recruiting Business Partner will play an integral role in supporting our Early Careers Programs.

Responsibilities (Essential Duties):

Recruitment (60%)

  • Attract and recruit candidates for hourly roles using various sources, like job boards, social media and employee referrals to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers on a regular basis to provide recruiting updates and understand the recruiting needs for each location.
  • Owning the candidate experience from start to end and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience: understanding candidate goals and needs, qualifying their competency and culture fit, managing the feedback loop, and coordinating a seamless interview and onboarding process.
  • Manages the hiring process for required paperwork, E-Verify, background checks, drug screens, reference checks, etc.
  • Continuously champion our culture by sharing our values with both candidates and internal customers.

Temporary Worker Process (30%)

  • Lead our communication and partnership with staffing agencies and ensure that all locations are appropriately staffed with temporary workers.
  • Own temp onboarding process.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in ADP and other headcount tracking reports for all temporary workers.

Early Careers (10%)

  • In partnership with the talent manager, support the coordination and recruitment of our early careers program. Most notably SEED, our high school Co-Op program.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 1+ years in an HR related or Recruiting function
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
  • Experience recruiting or working in a Manufacturing and/or Distribution industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • This position will be primarily in an office environment but may also include time in the warehouse, manufacturing plant and other locations. Up to 5% travel may be required.
