Job Overview
AReceiving Clerk is responsible for processing incoming deliveries, verifying the contents against purchase orders and packing slips, inspecting for damage, updating inventory records, and tagging the item for storage; essentially ensuring the accuracy and timely receipt of inbound product into the plant. WORK ENVIRONMENT:Receivingclerks will frequently transition from office area computer work to and from warehousereceiving dock floor operations with other workers and MHE traffic areas. The plant environment changes with each season causing temperatures to fluctuate from heat in summer, too cold in winter. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 30 pounds from floor to waist multiples times. The ability to work in a hot or cold environment, on the docks and outside as required. Ability to work while standing for prolong periods and/or sitting at a desk for prolong periods for work tasks as needed.
