The essential duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator are the following:



  • Maintain computer database and collect, record, and monitor all IV-E student data as submitted in semester reports.
  • Assist the program director in implementing policies and procedures, and monitor compliance.
  • Aggregate student data as required for reporting to the Division of Family Services.
  • Maintain an IV-E Alumni database; administer alumni surveys and track IV-E alumni.
  • Serve as the point of contact between the program and university departments.
  • Provide support for establishing and implementing ongoing communication with IV-E students (current, prospective, and alumni) participating in Title IV-E schools, DFCS, and federal consultants.
  • Attend to general student inquiries about the IV-E program.
  • Draft reports, correspondence, and process necessary forms/documents.
  • Attend meetings as a representative of the Program Director when necessary.
  • Assist Program Director with scheduling student interviews and orientations.
  • Plan special events.
  • Assist with organizing, planning, and facilitating recruitment activities.
  • Maintain mentor and mentee applications.
  • Maintain or assist in the program's budget development, monitor expenditure, and coordinate payments of invoices with the business manager for the IV-E program.
  • Oversee GRA's on administrative tasks.
  • Maintain social media development and management, and maintain the website.
  • Will support other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience; or a high school diploma or GED and six years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.


Preferred Requirements:



  • Project coordination and experience working with public agencies/partners and other University partners.
