Mark Chaffin Centers for Healthy Development

Our focus is on evidence-based parenting programs, preventing and addressing child developmental delays, child maltreatment, and sexual assault; building social-emotional competencies; and promoting meaningful inclusion and quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The nexus of our work is fostering social ecologies that promote healthy development and well-being through positive developmental and behavioral support at home and across multiple community-based systems of care (e.g., school, hospital, child welfare, early intervention). Our faculty develop, study, and bring to scale real-world implementation of evidence-based practices (EBPs).

The Mark Chaffin Centers for Healthy Development are seeking a part-time, Sponsor Funded Project Coordinator, Non-Exempt for 12 hours per week to assist the Project Director by carrying out coordination activities.

Duties include, but are not limited to:



  • Assist the director in updating relevant project databases and documentation, including internal and external meeting agendas and notes, and follow-up actions, databases of project activities and performance indicators, and tracking of required evaluation activities.
  • Maintain project webpage, assist the director in updating content to communicate project advancements and new resources, engage professionals and students, and educate the public.
  • Assist the director in communications on project activities, resources developed, and training offered.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or high school diploma or GED and six years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
