The basics of this position:

The position is responsible for developing and managing transfer and career programming that empowers students to achieve their academic and professional aspirations. This role also oversees the management and optimization of student success platforms related to career, transfer, and Early Alert processes, ensuring they are effectively utilized to enhance student outcomes and provide timely support for at-risk students. Additionally, the role supports the coordination of communications to current students, fostering engagement and awareness of key opportunities and resources. By leading data analytics efforts to assess objectives and key results, the position provides actionable insights for departments and projects reporting to the Vice President of Student Success. Through innovation, collaboration, and data-informed strategies, this role plays a critical part in creating a seamless and supportive student success experience. This role involves occasional travel across the district, as needed.

What you'll do:



  • Design, implement, and manage innovative transfer and career programming to support students' academic and professional goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with institutional goals and student needs.
  • Oversee the management, optimization, and integration of student success platforms related to career, transfer, and success management.
  • Provide training and support to staff and stakeholders on platform usage to enhance student outcomes.
  • Develop and coordinate communication plans to effectively engage current students with key opportunities, resources, and programs.
  • Ensure messaging aligns with institutional priorities and resonates with diverse student populations.
  • Lead data analytics initiatives to assess objectives, key results, and program effectiveness across career and transfer services.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of the Early Alert process to identify, track, and support at-risk students, collaborating with stakeholders to provide timely interventions and improve student outcomes.
  • Develop and facilitate professional development opportunities to support departmental goals, special projects, and pilot initiatives aimed at enhancing career and transfer programming, improving operational efficiencies, and increasing the utilization of student success services.
  • Work closely with departments and projects under the Vice President of Student Success to advance shared goals.
  • Contribute to innovative strategies that foster a seamless and supportive student success experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education, experience, and other requirements:

* Master's Degree in a related field.
* Five (5) years of relevant experience.
