Short Term Operations Planner

Primary liaison between the System Operations Planning team and the Operation Control teams at HDQ as well as a POC for our customers, both internal and external. Involved with all operational matters outside the 48-hour window of operation to include scheduling and maintaining the most efficient Operations Plan. Assist with other scheduling and departmental tasks in support of, but not limited to, scheduled service, ACMI/CMI, charter operations and special project assignments as needed.

Serves as the operational POC between the Operations Planning and Operations Control teams
• Helps to resolve conflicts, confronts scheduling challenges and satisfies special requirements
• Liaisons with Performance Engineering, Ground Operations, Crew Planning, Permitting and other operational groups to ensure the schedules and any subsequent amendments are efficient, accurate and can be supported
• Builds, maintains and publishes flight schedules and processes any schedule requests generally affecting flights 48-hours outside the "day of operation" and later while working closely with the Ops Planning team
• Initiates, implements and publishes recovery plans for disruptions encountered outside 48-hours of operations
• Assists the department in scheduling ACMI/CMI, scheduled service, passenger flights and other business segments on an as needed basis
• Helps to maintain the department's database with information pertinent to block times, aircraft performance, airport closures, and station capabilities
• Assists System Operations on operational matters as needed; tasks may include: research and project development, assisting with flight coding, delay coding and reporting, peak season planning, coordinating start-up activities, and facilitating Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Listing of couriers in AIMS Operating system

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3 or more years airline/aviation experience required; Operations experience a plus

• Flexibility with work schedule to include working nights, weekends and holidays

• Proficient in AIMS; world geography familiarity a plus

Salary Range: $52,500- $71,000

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset."
