Tyler Pipe - Machine Shop Supervisor

Tyler Pipe is seeking a dedicated and experiencedMachine Shop Supervisorto oversee the daily operations of our CNC and manual lathe machine team. This role reports to the Tooling Manager and is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of pipe molds to be used in the pipe casting process.

Machine Shop Supervisor

Location:Tyler, TX

Pay:$90,000 - $95,000 annually depending on experience.

Schedule:Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Friday shift as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise hourly personnel operating CNC and manual lathe machines.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
• Train machinists in proper CNC programming and manual machine operation.
• Monitor and approve employee time in UltiPro for payroll processing.
• Manage production schedules and control labor costs.
• Plan and coordinate production activities for optimal efficiency.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure PPE compliance.
• Recommend changes to machining methods to improve quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Lead and support team members to meet safety, training, and production goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Tooling Manager.

• Extensive knowledge of CNC programmingand manual lather machines, required.
• Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, required.
• Secondary education in engineering preferred but not required.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to wear required PPE.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
