As part of Platform Solutions segment at Goldman Sachs, the Quality Assurance team works closely with our partners in Delivery and with the first, second and third lines of defense to ensure our processes are functioning as designed and we are advocates for consumers initiating billing error disputes and fraud.

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Fraud and Claims Operations Analyst to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in credit card fraud detection and chargebacks, particularly with MasterCard chargeback requests. Quality Assurance experience is not required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Review billing disputes cases post resolution for appropriate handling and decision making for MasterCard chargeback requests
  • Investigate credit card fraud cases, including sending alerts and questioning the validity of charges.
  • Evaluate the handling of both fraud and non-fraud chargebacks efficiently.
  • Utilize Pega and MasterCom for chargeback management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of fraud claims.
  • Maintain detailed records Quality Assurance evaluation of fraud cases and chargebacks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve fraud detection and prevention strategies


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Proven experience in credit card fraud detection and chargebacks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Experience with MasterCom preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong risk management mindset, including ability to handle sensitive regulatory remediation matters and drive to completion
  • Build and document controls
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
