The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Quality Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and generating reports to support data-driven decision making and quality management in a healthcare setting. The role also involves being the bariatric clinical reviewer and a local Vizient CDB coordinator. Additionally, the analyst examines healthcare data to identify unmet needs, assess interventions, streamline processes, and improve outcomes across various cohorts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can interact with internal data and reporting specialists as well as independently learn to use, extract, and visualize data from multiple internal and external systems, including Epic, and third-party systems (e.g. Vizient, Press Ganey, and Nuance). This individual will be responsible for facilitating the execution of ad hoc data requests and supporting key project areas as well as managing the data infrastructure for the hospital, including independently maintaining the regular distribution of standard reports to appropriate stakeholders. Candidates must be able to work at a detailed level while maintaining the big picture of overall hospital goals, and providing actionable insights. Required:

  • High School Diploma required
  • One year related experience
  • medical terminology
  • Computer skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelor s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of systems such as Epic, Vizient, Nuance, Press Ganey
