APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
POSITION SPECIFICS The Department of Communication Arts and Sciences of The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for full-time faculty positions as a member of the teaching faculty. The start date is August 2025, with flexibility. We seek full-time teaching faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Communication Arts and Sciences, principally in CAS 100 (Effective Speech) but also, as the need arises, in undergraduate communication science, rhetoric, visual communication, interpersonal, and collegiate debate courses. Appointments would be at the appropriate faculty rank of Lecturer, Assistant Teaching Professor or Associate Teaching Professor. A Master's degree in communication studies or a related field is required for a Lecturer, and a PhD in communication studies or a related field for higher ranks by the appointment date.
