ACARA Solutions and our client in Scottsdale, AZ have a contract-to-hire position available (Hybrid schedule)

Space Force Proposal Engineer

Workplace Options:

This position is 3 days on site with 2 days working from home. If preferred, you can also work 100% on site.
While on-site, you will be a part of the MUOS team.

What sets you apart:

  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with defense and aerospace industry standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of proposal development processes and best practices (e.g., Shipley, APMP).
  • Familiarity with government contracts and acquisition processes.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with defence and aerospace industry standards and practices.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal development processes and best practices (e.g., Shipley, APMP).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with government contracts and acquisition processes.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Agile experience
  • PMP or other relevant certifications

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
