Summary:

Project Manager with 5+ years of DOT 192/195 pipeline integrity experience. Perform activities necessary to manage the development and execution of integrity assessments through inline inspection tools and pipeline remediation on a broad range of high-pressure Liquid & Natural gas pipelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Conduct Stakeholder meetings and site visits while working with third-party vendors to prepare a project scope of work and budget for assigned projects.
  • Prepare budget justifications and attend budget meetings for approval of proposed budgets
  • Coordinate with Energy Transfer stakeholders to schedule projects according to state and federal deadlines while meeting commercial and Gas/Liquid control obligations.
  • The Project Manager will coordinate and manage vendors to carry out the project scope for site preparation and modification needed to clean the pipeline, Track pigs, run ILI tools, dispose of waste, and clean up the site according to company standard operating procedures.
  • The Project Manager will work with an Integrity Engineer to schedule the logistics required to validate, remediate, and repair pipeline defects identified by the ILI tools.
  • The project manager will work with the accounting department and utilize SAP software to maintain accurate accounting records, prepare work offers, approve invoices, change orders, and forecast future project costs.
  • The project manager will regularly attend department meetings and provide weekly reports of the project's completion progress.
  • Prepare project summary while working with GIS applications to finalize and close the project


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or Project Management certification
  • 5+ years of direct work experience maintaining a safe work environment per company, state, and federal guidelines. Managing project accounting/forecasting, and completing Integrity Assessments,
  • Experience in chemical cleaning, usage of high-pressure separators, and third-party equipment to clean pipelines
  • Experience in working with and running Inline Inspection Tools
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple high-priority tasks and work with minimal direct supervision while staying on schedule and within budget constraints
  • The requirement to carry a company-provided cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and insurer.
  • Must operate and maintain the company vehicle per the Internal driving policy and not for personal usage.
  • Must be able to work in, interact and balance a corrupt office environment and field operations while maintaining professionalism, courtesy, and tact.


Working Conditions:

  • Normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Travel required, including overnight stays 50-60% of the time across a broad geographic region (West Texas - Midland Region, and Eastern New Mexico).
  • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
