Position Overview

The Simulator Technician Maintenance III position supports the Army Warfighter Training & Readiness Solutions (WTRS) contract.

Responsibilities / Duties

• The Electronics Technician Maintenance III position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic equipment for Aviation and Transportation School TADDS.

• Perform PMCS, troubleshoot, and isolate faults.
• Utilize spare/repair parts to address faults in accordance with technical guidelines.
• Research and select necessary repair parts.
• Enter work order data into the online management information system.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems beyond standard manuals.
• Supervise, provide directions to, and check lower-level technicians' work.
• Ensure recording of all maintenance actions in the Management Information System (MIS).
• Manage site supply, warehousing, and storage to support maintenance and document parts usage.
• Ensure site employees complete contractual and company-required training timely.
• Other duties may be assigned
• This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS Locations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology from an accredited university and 10 years of experience, Master's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology and 5 years of experience, Or 14+ Years of Experience in lieu of Degree

• Certification(s): Basic Electronic Technical Certificate

• Strong customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and On-Post driving privileges
• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• NACI background check required.

• Stand for long periods of time.
• Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.

• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading.
• May be exposed to extreme weather conditions.
• Experience utilizing test equipment to include: torque wrenches, volt/micrometers, network cable crimping/testers and solder stations to support repairs
