Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers

Full Time (40 hours/week) Time-/Day Shift -Modified Hybrid

Some weekend/evening work required

Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, D.C

General Summary:



  • Develops strategic vision for support groups throughout Senior Service organization.
  • Creates, facilitates, improves, grows membership and provides metrics for healthy aging, grief and loss, as well as family, care partner and chronic disease support groups under the jurisdiction of the Sibley Senior Association, Club Memory and Widowed Persons Outreach.
  • Hires and manages support group managers and contractors and develops workplans for expansion into underserved areas.
  • Provides needed training for support group leaders and assesses support group efficacy.
  • Supports Widowed Persons Outreach with advice, board participation, and in-person meetings as needed.


Minimum Qualifications:

Education:



  • Master's Degree and support group facilitation experience required.


Experience:



  • Experience with grief and loss support groups required
  • Experience with persons with Alzheimer's disease required.
  • Knowledge of District of Columbia a plus.

Salary Range: Minimum $39.37/hour - Maximum $64.96/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
